Our History

NuWave Solutions was founded by Howard Block and Mark Keyser in October 1999. The company was started in Silver Spring, Maryland and supported numerous commercial customers during the dot-com era. NuWave specialized in web development technologies including application server development and html. As the Internet took off the company's skills were heavily sought after.

The company’s first customer was Planetgov.com. NuWave Solutions built the PlanetGov website which was a B2G site focused on Government and Military Professionals, by providing e-commerce solutions connecting buyers and sellers into a premier virtual exchange. Additionally, PlanetGov provided government and military professionals with original content that delivered vital information relevant to their careers as public servants and extensive links to resources for government professionals.

Most of NuWave’s early clients were commercial companies in the Healthcare, Insurance and Association markets. These clients were supported from the company’s Silver Spring, MD office. In 2005 NuWave Solutions moved into the government sector and secured a GSA schedule. As the company’s government business grew, NuWave moved its headquarters from Silver Spring to Mclean, VA to better support its new customer base. In 2009 the company added a Columbia, MD office.
