NuWave Solutions Attends Spring BEA Portal Council

DENVER, CO (March 1, 2008) -- NuWave Solutions is a member of the BEA Portal Customer Council (PCC). The PCC consists of product users representing a cross section of customers. This group of customers together with WebLogic Portal management meets periodically to offer advice on industry trends and practices, product strategy, product improvements, and areas where expertise can be leveraged for everyone's benefit. In short, this is a forum for customers to help ensure product direction is in synch with technology and business objectives.

NuWave Solutions was invited by BEA based on the breadth of knowledge, experience, and expertise with developing and deploying Enterprise Portals using BEA WebLogic Portal. As a member of the PCC advisory council, NuWave is able to provide clients the highest level of expertise in BEA WebLogic Portals. NuWave Solutions attended the Spring meeting of the PCC in March of this year.

Howard Block, CEO of NuWave Solutions, gave a presentation on Chemistry.org and how the WebLogic Portal was used to implement the chemistry.org enterprise portal. NuWave Solutions participated in exercises intended to solicit ways to add new features and improve the WebLogic Portal. NuWave Solutions was also given access to code that will be in the 10,2 release. This code was used in a demo to leadership at DIA. It was instrumental in gaining creditability and gaining additional work. NuWave will be invited to the next meeting which should be in the next few months.
